Mini DBA Desktop

  • Enter your license key through the help menu
  • Restart the application
  • Use the same help menu to de-activate the license if you need to move it between computers
  • Mini DBA Server

  • Enter your license key through the Server License Tool found in the Windows start menu group
  • If the computer being activated uses a web proxy, use the WebProxyUrl setting in miniDBAServer.config file to point to your web proxy
  • Restart the Mini DBA Server Windows service
  • Use the same application to de-activate the license if you need to move it between computers

  • De-Activation

License keys for both Mini DBA Desktop and Server can be moved between computers. The activated license needs to be de-activated to register with the central Mini DBA licensing server that it is not currently in use.
Once de-activated the same key can be used to activate the software on another computer.
It is your responsibility as an end user to de-activate the license before attempting to activate it again on another computer.
If it becomes impossible to de-activate a license owing to a virtual machine or computer being wiped/de-activated then the Mini DBA team can de-activate the license for you. This may incurr a nominal admin fee.
