Analysis Services Cpu


The SSAS CPU screen displays processor time graphs broken down into cores and in the 2nd graph total CPU usage.

The CPU usage is not specific to SSAS, it is for all processes running on the server.

The grid under the graphs gives a task manager like view of all processes running on the monitored instance. The advantage over task manager is it will show you remote servers processes.
The following are the properties shown for each process:
  • - Name
  • - Cpu %
  • - Working Set Mb
  • - Working set Mb Change (change between each refresh)
  • - Virtual Memory Mb

The status bar at the bottom of the screen gives you process specific summary information:
  • - Number of processes running
  • - Total Cpu Usage %
  • - Total Physical Memory Usage Mb
